Description
FFC 210 FR is a single component ready to use fire retardant sealant. It is intumescent when exposed to temperatures of above 250°C. FFC 210 FR can achieve fire ratings of more than 240 minutes in
certain joint configurations (NBN713.020 – BS 476/20)
Characteristics
- Intumescent at temperatures above 250°C
- Chemically neutral and inert once fully cured
- Withstands moisture
- Does not contain asbesto
- Can be painted
Applications
- Sealing of joints and openings around fire doors
- Sealing of openings around cable vents
- Fireproof sealings of cable vents, circulation ducts, etc.
- Fire retardant sealing of low movement joints
Directions for use
Surfaces:
Type: brickwork, concrete, metals
State of Surface: clean, dry, free of dust and grease
Preparation: no primer required
We recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
Joint Size:
Minimum Width: 5mm
Maximum Width: 15mm
Minimum Depth: 5mm
Recommandation: depth = width
Application:
Method: caulking gun
Application temperature: +5°C to +30°C
Clean: with water
Finish: with spatula
Repair: with FFC 210 FR
