Tip1: First Time User's

1. Apply the Soudal Tape for Perfect Joints into one corner in the normal way.
   
   
2. Take the plastic smoothening tool and press it flat against the surface as shown.
   
   
3. Now just slide the flat edge of the smoothening tool between the stuck and loose part of the tape. Then press the tool right into the corner.
   
   
4. Press the the other half to the wall and press again to make sure it is fixed.
   
   
5. Do not slide the tool down the joint because this will cut the transparent film and you'll have to take it off two times.
   
   
6. Ready to start sealing.

Tip 2: Mask a 2 way corner joint

Option 1:

Cut two 5cm lenghts of the tape and apply into the corner as shown in the picture.

How to remove the overlapping parts?

1. Use a sharp knife to remove the Soudal Tape for Perfect Joints overlapping parts. Make sure you use a sharp knife otherwise you might pull away the tape from the corner.
   
   
2. Use the flat end of the smoothening tool (or your finger nail), to rub the tool over the top of the overlapped tape until it starts to roll into a tube, then just stick the tape back onto itself. See the picture below for the finished result.

Finally apply the tape as normal, covering the premasked corners.

Option 2:

Cut two 5cm lenghts of the tape and apply into the corner as shown in the picture.

How to apply the tape correctly?

1. Apply the vertical tape first and DO NOT remove the transparent film.
   
   
2. Now apply the horizontal tapes one at a time and remove the transparent film.
   

Finally apply the tape as normal, covering the premasked corners.

Tip 3: Mask a 3 way corner joint

Cut two 5cm lenghts of the tape and apply into the corner as shown in the picture.
